No - at Karen Maisie Music, we prioritise affordability so that exceptional live musical performances. Therefore, we do not charge any additional extras such as mileage or allowances for any gig attendances within 80 miles of Crossgar, County Down, Northern Ireland.

We aim to get all demos sent across to newly-wed couples within 3 days of the date of your wedding.

Of course! Once you receive your demo track you can send this audio file across (either via email, WhatsApp, DropBox, iMessage) to your wedding photographer and ask that they use this audio file as your wedding video audio. Compatible with most editing tools, this simple audio file can be placed over the top of any video in order to secure a personalised audio (instead of simply placing songs over the top) and remove all unwanted background noise. Perfect for those who want a little bit of personal touch!

Of course! Even if there are no big dates in the diary you would like to make a booking for, we can cater to all demo-related requests. As long as you want within reason…Generally speaking, most sets last 2 hours. However, Karen Maisie Music has previously provided live musical performance services across a 12 hour period…(Gold Wedding Package - 1pm to 1am). Karen Maisie Music can provide non-stop live performances (i.e., no breaks) for up to 4 hours. Alternatively (and most of the time), gigs can last any where between 2 and 4 hours (with short breaks) subject to your preference and venue requirements.

This depends on the type of gig…but a minimum of 1 weeks’ notice is generally required for all bookings. BUT - if you’re in a tight spot trying to organise something super last minute, give us a call on 07545840371 or drop us an email at karenmaisiemusic@outlook.com - we will always do whatever we can to accommodate everyone’s requests!

For gigs with full stage and lighting set (smoke and bubble machines available on request), we require at least 1 hour to set up and sound check in order to ensure prompt start time. All set up time is included in your quote for the booking, at no additional charge. For all other sets (acoustic/small gig sets) we take approximately 20-30 minutes to set up and sound check.

If the party is in full swing…and we are able to accommodate longer set times than initially booked (i.e., if we do not have any subsequent gigs booked that day or evening), we would be more than happy to play on for you, subject to venue policies and closing times. Karen Maisie Music is able to provide live musical performances for any length up time up to a max of 4 hours. Based on an hourly rate of £100 per hour, per extra portion of time played.
