"We found Karen Maisie through a wedding fair trip to our venue and her beautiful voice stood out as soon as we arrived. We were so unsure what our evening reception needed and upon hearing her sing we just knew she was the one to start the party on our wedding day. Karen’s vocal talent is unbelievable and she just makes you want to start dancing immediately! Alongside her music, she was caring and genuine with our wedding requests and asked thoroughly what we were interested in. Her song list is vast and she even recommended songs to match the energy of the evening reception; going beyond entertainment and showing genuine skill for crowd work! Karen was really fab to work with especially as wedding stress set in she was kind and organised. The most special part we will never forget was her unique spin on our first dance song; she managed to make a fast paced rock/pop song into the most romantic and gentle melody I have ever heard. It truly made our wedding so special and to be able to dance as newlyweds to this meaningful music was just amazing! Lastly, Karen’s family team made us feel really comfortable and her parents coming to help her set up and speak with us really goes to show she does this out of a supported passion for music and we wish her all the best in future!!"
